Looking back over the years, some may have thought we acted like "hooligans"...some may have even called us "hippies"...to quote slang from the '60's.

We wore bell-bottom jeans, wore our hair down to our knees...we were a motley crew.

The 70's...I remember having to turn the TV channel for my father as he sat in his "Lazy Boy" watching the football game while "throwing back a few".  I was the remote control...not only for the TV, but the refigerator door, too.

Gas was around thirty-five cents a gallon...a pack of cigarettes about the same.  You went to school during the day and worked hard every night so you could take your high school sweetheart out on a date over the weekend.

Oh yeah, some of us might have even tried a little of the "Wildwood Weed"...I never knew what it was called...if you can believe that one.  Hey!  I never inhaled.
